Locking yourself out of your Euronet Digital Video Recorder (DVR) can instantly paralyze your security operations. Whether you inherited a system without documentation, forgot a rotated password, or experienced a firmware glitch, losing admin access prevents you from viewing live feeds, exporting critical footage, or changing security settings.

Save the following in a safe location:

Reinsert the battery, connect the monitor, and power on the DVR.

Disconnect your network cable (Ethernet) from the back of the DVR before testing defaults. This prevents account lockouts triggered by automated network login attempts. Common Default Combinations: admin | Password: admin Username: admin | Password: (Leave Blank) Username: admin | Password: 123456 Username: admin | Password: 12345 Username: admin | Password: 888888 Username: superadmin | Password: 999999 Method 2: The Motherboard CMOS Reset (Hardware)

Populate the security questions, link a verified recovery email address, and export your device's QR code configuration profile.

The system may prompt you to answer you set up during installation.

A unique or a serial number string will appear on the monitor.

What are currently displayed on your monitor screen? Do you see a QR code on the login screen?

Never leave the administrator account blank or set to 123456 . Create a complex password combining letters, numbers, and symbols.

If your Euronet DVR supports it:

No. A standard password reset using the methods described above does not erase recorded footage. Only a factory reset that reformats the hard drive will delete recordings.
